Need something quick that you can prep ahead of time for those grab-and-go mornings? Something with protein that is better than shakes or bars with clean ingredients you know your body craves? Then, these easy and delicious overnight oats may just be your favorite breakfast go-to.
Easy & Delicious Vegan Protein Overnight Oats
½ cup raw whole oats
1 Tablespoon Hemp Seeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 pinch of salt
¾ cup soy (or plant-based milk of choice)
2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
1 banana (or fruit of choice)
¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Mix oats, hemp seeds, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt in a glass jar that you can put a lid on.
Stir in the milk & maple syrup. Cover with a lid.
Put in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 4-8 hours.
Top with a cut-up banana and chopped walnuts. Or, add in your favorite toppings. Enjoy straight from the glass or dump it into a bowl.
Meal Prep Tip: These oats still taste good after being in the fridge for 3-5 days. If you are a meal prepper, consider making these at the beginning of your week for the rest of your work week!
